The Watershed Learning Project is an inclusive science enhancement program for fifth grade students in Taos County that inspires a love for environmental sciences, imparts critical conservation values, and prepares students for a sustainable future.
Kids in the Monument
Taos County fourth grade students are encouraged to celebrate Rio Grande del Norte National Monument by practicing conservation ethics, hiking with furry llamas and rafting the Wild and Scenic River.
Students Explore Wilderness
In this two-day program, third grade students attending public schools in Taos County explore the concept of wilderness by adventuring in the Columbine Hondo Wilderness area and along the Rio Grande Wild and Scenic River.
