Radical Raven Adventures Hiking Club
As a result of their fun learning adventures in the Watershed Learning Project, many of our students this year have pleaded with us to continuing taking them out into nature after the program ended. So, Rivers & Birds is now offering a children’s hiking club for the summer of 2010. Our goal for the hiking club is to promote confidence in being outdoors, wonder for nature and conservation values for Earth stewardship among these youth. The Radical Raven Hiking Club will meet every Wednesday in June and July to explore local trails near Taos with a special focus each day.
Age Range for Participant: 7-12 years
Schedule: June 1 – July 31, 8 Wednesdays, 9:30 am – 3:30pm
Cost: $130 per student, scholarships are available.
